Last October 2, CTL kicked off World Teachers’ Day activities with an information session inviting teachers to learn about the CTL Production Team’s services and how they can help elevate the teaching experience.
The moderators shared what the CTL Production is all about – they are a group of student interns who were trained by industry professionals in pre-production, production, and post-production. Their mission is to elevate the learning experience by creating high quality instructional videos. Currently, they specialize in (1) instructional videos, where they transform traditional lectures into engaging and digestible content and (2) introductory videos which can be used to give students a glimpse of the course ahead and an overview of the course value.
Other highlights of the info session include talking about the benefits of instructional videos for teachers and students, common use cases, as well as how teachers can participate in the production work. The best part was the teachers interacting with the mock set to get a feel for what it’s like to be a part of production, and taking some pictures too!
