Canvas 101 is a course you definitely want to bookmark. This is where we upload all Canvas-related guides. There are some guides that are specific to UA&P so it would be really helpful to browse through this course before you begin each semester. In this course, you’ll find:
- The Academic Guidelines per School Year
- Canvas Basics (e.g., getting around Canvas, Canvas tools and features, Communication tools in Canvas)
- Guides on Recordkeeping (e.g., how to reflect midterm standings (pass or fail), how to enable a grading scheme so that your final grades reflect as 1.0, 1.25, and so on, how to override grades, how to assign “status grades” such as INC, how to process the requirements of INC students, and more).
- High-tech tools, tips, and tricks (applications and tools you may want to use in class)
- Canvas Updates (whenever there are new features or functionalities on Canvas, we’ll be sure to update you in this course!)
