NOTES• Sometimes ADs run by other stock photo websites (which require payments) such as iStock appear on the Unsplash and Pexels websites. Feel free to ignore these.
• To customize your search (e.g. if you’re looking for a portrait orientation image or have a color scheme), type in what you’re looking for in the search bar, then check out the drop down menus on the upper right to filter your searches.
• If you can’t find an image you like on one site, try searching for the same keywords on the other.
• Pexels also offers free, high resolution, and aesthetic videos.

How to use

  1. Head over to your website of choice
  2. Use the search bar to type in key words related to the images/videos you need (e.g., “team”, “classroom”)
  3. Scroll through the results until you find the one/s you like
  4. Click on the selected photo/video and then click on the download button to save these aesthetic, high resolution images/videos for free
  5. Remember to give proper credit when using the images/videos
