This is because, though you may have finished the class, it has not yet been concluded in the Canvas system.
To hide this subject from your dashboard, go to the ‘Courses’ tab [1], then click ‘All Courses’ [2].
Next to your subjects, you will see star icons. A colored star icon [2] indicates that the subject will appear on your dashboard, while a white star icon [2] indicates that the subject is hidden. To toggle this setting, simply click the star icon.
However, please note that any groups you were a part of cannot be hidden.
